Billing & Rate Information...

Payment Options

Billing Statements
Please contact the co-op with any questions you may have regarding your billing. Remember all bills are due and payable by the 4th of the month. If you pay by mail, remember to allow for delivery time to avoid late payment charges.

Online Payment & Billing Information
We are pleased to announce we have added an online payment option.  In addition to being able to make your payment online in a secured manner you will be able to obtain useful account information such as billing, usage and payment history.

Budget Billing

If your monthly residential bill varies because of seasonal loads, budget billing will help you balance your payments over the year. To qualify, your account must be residential and be billed on a monthly basis. The amount you pay each month is based on usage over the past 12 months. Periodically your account is reviewed to insure that your budgeted amount reflects usage. If you are interested in budget billing, contact our Iola office for details.

Overdue Bills

If a bill remains unpaid after the 4th of the month, the cooperative shall then have the right to discontinue service to the member after 8 days written notice. The cooperative makes every effort to reach a satisfactory payment arrangement with members as an alternative to disconnecting service for non-payment of bills. Following discontinuance of service for non-payment, the member will be subject to all applicable charges and deposits prior to restoration of service. Collection fees may be charged for trips made to the member's premises regarding delinquent accounts.

Non-Sufficient Funds Policy
All NSF checks received will be assessed a $25.00 charge and are given 7 days to pay in cash or by money order.

Automatic Bill Payment
Central Wisconsin Electric Cooperative now has the ability to receive Automated Clearing House transfers for payment of electric bills. For those members enrolled, a direct charge would be made to your checking account on the thirtieth day of the month for the amount of your electric bill.

If you are interested in using Central Wisconsin Electric Cooperative's Automatic Payment Plan, contact our office or click on the link below.
