Your Co-op is a strong advocate of energy conservation and using renewable energy sources.
To assist our members in getting the most energy efficient home as possible we have rebates available for such items as energy star appliances, high efficient central air conditioners, weatherization, geothermal heat pumps, dual fuel with electric as one source, and electric thermal storage furnaces. We have funds available for an energy inspection to your home and insulating based off the inspector’s recommendation.
For members that are interested in renewable energy we offer rebates for solar electric and wind systems. Other rebates are available for solar water heaters.

CWEC offers a free electric water heater for new construction or conversion from gas and a rebate for replacing an electric one if you sign up for our load management program.
