Apprentice or Journeyman Lineman
Central Wisconsin Electric Cooperative (CWEC) is seeking a highly motivated, dependable, and safety-conscious individual to join our team at our Rosholt office, located at 10401 Lystul Road. We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Apprentice Lineman or Journeyman Lineman.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing safe, reliable electric service to our members.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A Wisconsin Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Knowledge of electricity, general construction practices, and power line construction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
A degree or certificate from an institution specializing in Electrical Line Construction and Maintenance, or completion of an accredited Apprenticeship Program, is preferred.
The successful candidate must be willing to reside within a 15-mile radius of the Cooperative’s headquarters.
