Aug. 8 - Don Shire in Concert: 7 p.m. Jensen Community Center, 487 N Main Street, Amherst. Free concert with free ice cream social after the concert.

Aug. 9 - S'more Fun at Lions Camp: 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Wisconsin Lions Camp, 3834 County Road A, Rosholt. Some activities include: archery, boating, climbing tower, crafts, fishing, pontoon rides, rope courses, swimming, and wagon rides. Registration available at the door.

Aug. 9 - Rosholt Stingers Pig Skin Pig Roast: 3-8 p.m. (meal from 4-7 p.m.) Rosholt Fair Park, 186 W Forest Street, Rosholt.

Aug. 9 - Rosholt Threshermen Truck & Tractor Pull: Rosholt Fair Park, 186 W Forest Street, Rosholt.

Aug. 10 - 18th Drive Your Tractor To Church: Early Bird Tractor Parking & Registration at 8 a.m., music from the band "Bluegrass" from 9:30-10 a.m., Outdoor Church Service from 10-11 a.m., Theme Basket Auction from 11 a.m.-Noon, and Lunch at Noon. North New Hope Lutheran Church, 845 County Road T, Amherst Junction.

Aug. 14-17 - Vibin' in the Pines Music Festival: Rosholt Fair Park, 186 W Forest Street, Rosholt.

Aug. 16 - Sacred Heart Parish Picnic: 7-11 p.m. Sacred Heart Parish Picnic, 7379 Street Church Street, Custer (Polonia). Music by "EMBER". Double Elimination Corn Hole Tournament starts at 6 p.m. To sign-up for the Corn Hole Tournament, call Andy at 715-572-5246.

Aug. 17 - Sacred Heart Parish Picnic: 10 a.m. mass with Polish hymns led by the Sacred Heart Choir, chicken & ham dinners from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., and Polish music and dancing from 12-7 p.m. Sacred Heart Parish Picnic, 7379 Street Church Street, Custer (Polonia). Other activities at the event include basket raffles, food, games, bingo, and a Horseshoe Double Elimination Tournament. To sign-up for the Corn Hole Tournament, call Andy at 715-572-5246.

Aug. 29-Sept. 1 - 99th Portage County Fair: 3-8 p.m. (meal from 4-7 p.m.) Rosholt Fair Park, 186 W Forest Street, Rosholt.

Sept. 6 - Gun & Knife Show: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Rosholt Fair Park, 186 W Forest Street, Rosholt.

Sept. 7 - St. John Lutheran Church Harvest Dinner: 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. St. John Lutheran Church, 502 Cedar Street, Tigerton. Worship Service with Rev. Dean Suehring, at 10:30 a.m., with special music starting at 10 a.m. Meal following the service. Family style - all you can eat - Swiss steak, broasted chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, glazed carrots, green beans and homemade pies. Adults: $14 Children 5 - 12: $7 Under 5 free. Carry Outs available by calling 715-535-2282.

Sept. 27 - Ripping Thru Rosholt: 11 a.m. Main Street, Rosholt.
