Oct. 16 - Fight Cancer Night: 5 p.m. doors open, 5:45 p.m. volleyball begins. The Thunderdome at Iola-Scandinavia High School, 540 S Jackson, Street, Iola. All proceeds will stay in the Iola-Scandinavia-Rosholt area.

Oct. 17-19 - Bootleggers Fall Harvest Fest: Bootleggers, 3703 County Road Q, Amherst Junction. Friday: Fish Boil from 4 p.m. until gone, $15. Live music from 7-10 p.m.; Saturday: Old Car Show from Noon-4 p.m., steak or rib dinner from noon-7 p.m., $25, Live music from 2-10 p.m.; Sunday: charcoal grilled chicken from 11 a.m. until gone, $15. Oct. 19 - Old Fashion Sunday Dinner: 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Faith Lutheran Church, 253 S Main Street, Rosholt. Serving: beef roast, roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes & gravy, salad, dessert, and beverage. $15 for adults, $10 for ages 5-12 years old, and free fro ages 4 & under. Oct. 24 - Legally Blonde The Musical: 7 p.m. Sentry Theater, 1800 North Point Drive, Stevens Point. Central Wisconsin Area Community Theater (cwACT) presents Legally Blonde The Musical, with book by Heather Hach and music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin. Based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture, Legally Blonde The Musical follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. Legally Blonde The Musical is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com. Oct. 25 - CWEC Member Appreciation Breakfast: 8-11 a.m. In addition to a pancake breakfast, the following will be available at the event: Door Prizes, Kids Costume Contest (Judging at 9:45 a.m.), Halloween Treat Bag for Kids, Kids Bike Drawing at 10 a.m., Bounce House, Hotline Demonstrations, and Craft & Gift Fair featuring local vendors. For those who have confidential paper documents that they want to recycle, the paperwork can be brought to the Member Appreciation Breakfast. The documents will be placed in secure canisters to be shredded by a recycling company. A toy drive will be held to kickoff the 2025 CWEC Toys for Tots campaign. Those who bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate will be entered in a special prize drawing. A food drive will also be held. Those who bring canned food items to be donated to local food pantries will receive one LED light bulb for every three food items. (Up to 15 limit)

Oct. 25 - Fantastic Fall Bingo: 5 p.m. doors open & 6:30 p.m. bingo starts. Jensen Community Center, 487 N Main Street, Amherst. Even includes a chili feed and an evening of bingo. Cash payouts and prizes. For more information call: 715-824-5202.

Oct. 26 - "Trunk or Treat": 5-7 p.m. Faith Lutheran Church, 253 S Main Street, Rosholt. Area trick-or-treaters are invited for free chili, hot cocoa, a youth group  sponsored activity and trunks full of candy. All are welcome to open your trunk to hand out candy. Come to the church parking lot 15-30 minutes before 5 p.m., park your vehicle and set up your trunk. Costumes are optional. Decorate your trunk too.

Nov. 1 - Haunted Campground: 4:30-7 p.m. Tigerton OHV Park, 1100 Quad Park Lane, Tigerton. Free Admission. Concessions available. Presented by Tigerton Drama, Thespain Troupe 10316, and the Village of Tigerton. All proceeds support Tigerton Drama.
